The Wedding Plan
Join us in our celebrations as we tie the knot on Saturday, 08 August 2009.
The tentative program for the day will be as follows:
Morning: Traditional Chinese Ceremony
6:00am: MUA to arrive at Jas’s home. Make-up starts.
7:00am: Groomsmen to arrive at FM’s home. Bridesmaids to arrive at Jas’s home.
7:30am: FM & Groomsmen to leave FM’s home for Jas’s home. Veiling of Bride at Jas’s home.
8:00am: FM arrives at Jas’s home. Gate-crashing. Morning tea. Lifting of veil.
9:00am: Bridal party leaves for outdoor photoshoot at Changi Boardwalk.
10:15am: Bridal party leaves Changi Boardwalk for FM’s home.
10:45am: Bridal party arrives at FM’s home. Tea ceremony. Change to Tea Dress.
11:30am: Bridal party leaves FM’s home for Jas’s home.
12:00nn: Bridal party arrives at Jas’s home. Tea Ceremony.
1:00pm: End of Morning events
7pm: Wedding Dinner Banquet
Our wedding dinner banquet will be held in the Grand Ballroom (Level 2) of Grand Park City Hall.
Sharks fin soup will not be served at our dinner banquet in response to environmental concerns over the rapidly decreasing population of wild sharks.
7:00pm – Cocktail Reception
7:30pm – Dinner Banquet begins. All guests are kindly requested to arrive before this time.
8pm: Wedding Solemnization Ceremony
The civil marriage ceremony will be held at the start of the wedding banquet.
The Justice of Peace officiating at our ceremony will be Dr. Phua Tan Tee, PBM.
